“Thanksgiving is only 2 weeks away so you better start planning now,” says a huge procrastinator. Umm – that would be me.
I know – it’s so unlike me to plan 2 weeks in advance but these next 2 weeks are full of deadlines, meetings, basketball games, band concerts and parent/teacher conferences. So I am trying to think ahead of what I can make up now and throw in the freezer until Turkey day arrives.

This is a kid friendly Halloween treat idea.
So much in fact, my 8 year-old wouldn’t let me help. Darn kid took all of the fun out of it for me. Not really. But she could have.
Crush up your Oreos first. If you don’t have a food processor, put them in a plastic bag and use a rolling pin to crush them into fine pieces.
Next, decorate your cup like a Frankenstein or monster face with a black Sharpie.

Thank you everyone who entered. I just love knowing that my cupboards are not the only ones in desperate need of organizing. For those of you who need help in the spice area, think about ordering one (or more) of the SpiceStacks. It really has been helpful and even better than that; I don’t feel scared to open that door anymore and wonder which bottle is going to fall out.
So with one shelf done in my kitchen and many, many more to go, I can’t decide which one to tackle next, the pantry, the bake ware, the baking shelf, the decorating shelf, etc., etc., etc. Stay tuned, there may just be another organizational giveaway in the future!

It’s the Case of the Missing Pillow Case.
Seriously, I need to get Nate the Great or Castle in on this one. We have a missing pillow case and it’s driving me nuts!
It all started earlier this week when I went to wash ALL of the bedding.
I had the kids bring ALL of their bedding to the mud room so I could wash it.
I threw it all into the washer and then into the dryer.
