Ever have one of those days where things just don’t go right? Thank goodness! I was beginning to think I was the only one. I know they are trivial things but sometimes a lot of trivial things add up to one down right bummer of a day.

We had a fun busy weekend. We got to celebrate Christmas a little early with my family. We got to open a few presents and eat A LOT of food – already – and it’s only mid-December. It’s weekends like we just had that make me realize how lucky I am.
I have both of my parents, my stepmom and my in-laws still living, my siblings and all of their kids were able to attend and we were joined by a couple of my step-siblings and their spouses. It was a weekend filled with laughter and tears (both sad and joyous) and did I mention FOOD!
