Remember those brownies I botched last week. My friend Mikki gave me the idea to make brownie balls and dip them into chocolate. This reminded me of an idea I saw online where you take brownie balls and make them into snow boys and snow girls! So that is what I did. I made magical snow people. They are magical because they won’t melt BUT they will disappear.

You could easily make this treat with cake balls if you like. I do have to say that using the fudgy brownie mix was much easier though. With the cake balls you have to make sure you get just the right amount of frosting and keep them cold. With the brownies they are just the perfect consistency and they can be dipped either cold or room temperature but they do dip easier when they are on the cooler rather than the warmer side.

Are you ready for some football? Bear with me here if you are not a football fan. I do have a good recipe waiting for you at the end.
Its playoff season and I am a Packer fan. So much so, that I am on a first name basis with most of the team. Aaron, Clay, Donald, Jordy. Notice I didn’t say “we” are on a first name basis. I’m a fan. They have no clue who I am but that’s beside the point. If you are not a Packer fan, please don’t hate me remember I have a good recipe to follow.

And before this season, I would have only been on a first name basis with Packer players but some of our friends decided a Fantasy Football League would be fun. Well, all I can say is, it was “funstrating”. You know a mixture of fun and frustrating all at the same time.

Since it is January 6 and we don’t have ANY snow on the ground and none in the forecast, I decided to make a few things “snow” related for the blog that you’ll see in the next couple of weeks. Who would have thought that the only real snowman we may see this whole winter had to be made way back in the beginning of November – and that snow didn’t last long. The photo below is of our youngest and her proud half melted snowman. Aren’t they cute?!

For those of you who don’t like snow – imagine me sticking my tongue out at you right now. I know it’s not polite but hey – we live in Wisconsin, we’re supposed to have snow this time of year, not green grass that looks like it needs mowing. Plus, my family misses it and I know we are not alone!!!

Story behind yesterday’s One Word Wednesday. I told you on Tuesday I wasn’t perfect and today you’ll see another botched job in the kitchen.

Over the holiday break, I attempted to make for the first time The Pioneer Woman’s Cinnamon Roll Recipe I shared with you in December. Wellllll, they didn’t turn out quite like I imagined in my head. In fact, when my kids tasted them they said – “One Word Wednesday – FAILURE!!!” I had to agree.
