Loaded Baked Potato Chip Dip for Game Day
I can normally pass up chips on a buffet table spread but if you have a dip next to those chips, oh boy, this girl is all over it. Same goes for veggies and fruit. If there is a dip next to them, they just seem more appealing. Why is that?
Why do breadsticks taste better with marinara sauce?
Or French fries with ketchup?
Or broccoli with ranch dressing?
Or tortilla chips with salsa?
I mean all of these foods taste fine by themselves but dip it in a complimenting sauce and you have something even better.
If you are serving fruit, try this dip.
Serving veggies, crackers or chips? Try either this one or this one.
This Loaded Baked Potato Chip Dip is a must try. It’s perfect for game day, or a birthday or holiday party. But if you don’t have a party planned, there is no reason why you can’t make it just for yourself. That’s what I did.
Are you a dip person? Tell me what your favorite thing is to dip and what you dip it into.

Well I had it for an afternoon snack today. 🙂
What kind of hot sauce do you put in it ?
Kendra replied: — January 21st, 2014 @ 6:32 pm
Hi Betty! Thanks for stopping by. You could use any brand of hot sauce but I used Frank’s Red Hot Original. The hot sauce added just a nice little flavor to the sour cream but it wasn’t overwhelming. The first time I made it I used only 1 tablespoon and I felt it needed more. The next time I made it, 2 tablespoons seemed to be just right for us.
This dip looks awesome!! I bet it would be so amazing with homemade fries too. Drooling just thinking about it…and so perfect for game day!
Oh, man, this is my kinda chips & dip! 🙂 Growing up, there was always a fight over the last of the dip; I’m sure this recipe would go down a treat in my family! Stopping by from Dream to Reality to invite you to link up at Tasty Tuesdays, where I pin every post shared: http://anyonitanibbles.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/tasty-tuesdays-45-stumbleupon-blog-ops.html Hope to see you there!
Wow, this looks delish! What type of hot sauce should be used with this? Tabasco, taco sauce, tapatio?? Making this for Superbowl and want it to taste right! Thanks!

Hi Audrey – thanks for stopping by. I used Frank’s Red Hot Original but you could use almost any kind of hot sauce you have in the pantry. Tabasco would give it even more of a kick if you like that. I hope you like it!
I love a good dip too. This looks like perfect football food.
OMG this looks so good. I have a weak spot for loaded baked potato ANYTHING…!!!!!!!!!
