5 Minute Butterfinger Cheesecake
I know my postings have been very sporadic in the past few months (or more). Our family schedule has just gotten busier than I ever expected it to be, but in a good way. What it doesn’t leave me though is a lot of time to make things from scratch anymore like I used to.
Luckily, there are many, many companies out there that make products to help out busy people (or non bakers/cooks). So over the course of the summer, when I post a recipe, be prepared that it probably has at least one, if not two, convenience food products. Companies spend lots of money creating recipes/idea for their products and put them on their packaging. Do you ever try them?
That’s what my intentions are for this summer. To try a few convenience food products, their package recipes, and to tell you about them.
First up is Philadelphia Cheesecake Filling, found in the refrigerator section near the cream cheese. Being a cheesecake lover, I knew I wanted to try this product when I saw it. It’s not as good as homemade cheesecake, but if you truly want a quick, easy dessert – try this. Pair it with a prepared graham cracker or Oreo crust and you can have a dessert ready in 5 minutes – I kid you not! Part of the reason I liked this product!
All you need to do with this cheesecake filling is pour it into a crust and top with your favorite topping, or stir in a favorite extra and then pour into the crust. See – fast and easy.
