My Magazine Debut and a Yum Food & Fun For Kids Giveaway

Can you hear that scream of mine?  It’s an excited scream just in case you couldn’t tell.

You see the cover of this magazine – Yum Food & Fun for Kids – it has one of my creations on it.

See the animal pretzels on the top left?  Those are mine from a blog post last year.

And inside, you get to see the whole recipe.

I was so excited when I was contacted a few months ago to see if I would be interested in having these cute pretzels in their magazine.  I of course said “YYYYEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!”

Since this magazine has a limited distribution, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a copy.  When it arrived in the mail, I was so happy to see that this is a great magazine for any parent who wants new ideas on not only sweet treats but meal planning, healthy snacks, and party ideas.

Ideas  Gadgets

I still can’t get over seeing my name in print.  It’s a pretty darn cool feeling.

Congrats on your pretzel magazine debut! So cute-I’m going to try these with my after school teen group at our library. I have lots of favorite magazines but love anything that combines creativity and kids, like Family Fun. I’ve never seen Yum Food & Fun For Kids but think it would be a new favorite for me and my patrons at our library!

I’m always on the hunt for fun and interesting ways for my 5 yr. old Grandson to be involved in healthy choices especially, when it comes to the food he eats. Plus, he loves to cook and create which makes him less of a picky eater.I don’t have a favorite magazine but, I suspect this could become our favorite.

Congrats on your first, of many, publications! That is awesome and very deserving. All your ideas are so cute, and doable. My favorite magazine is probably Redbook because it has a little of everything (recipes, exercises, self-help, decorating, etc.) in it.
