Thankful

I’m not very crafty.  I wish I was and I have lots of the tools to be crafty.  I have stamps and colored paper and fancy designed scissors and a hot glue gun.  Every girl (crafty or not) should have a hot glue gun.  A hot glue gun to a girl is like a table saw to a guy (only in a much different price range).  You don’t use it very often but when you need one, it’s the best thing in the world.

But, if I was crafty, I sooooo would have made this beautiful looking Thankful Tree I saw online.  I wish I had seen it earlier in the season then maybe I would have taken the time to make it.   Nahhhh – I’m not gonna kid ya.  Had I seen it in July I still wouldn’t have made it.  I would have forgotten all about it.  And then, the day before Thanksgiving, I would have said to myself, “Gee, now what was it again I was going to make that looked like a beautiful centerpiece?”    I found this tree over at Craft Gossip who posted it from Simply Vintage Girl.  Isn’t it a great idea?

Had I made this tree though, these are the things I would have put on each circle because I am very thankful for each and every one of them.  And maybe next year, I’ll get around to making it.  Hey, stop laughing, I just might!

Great list, Kendra! I would have added cheesecake, books, Packers, and YOU to my tree!

Everything you did (minus the Mt Dew) plus that I am still walking. Have a great Thanksgiving and get yourself one of those scrapbooking thingies that cut out perfect circles. You’ll have this tree by next year, fer sure!
